In order to create, you must put the voice in your head in its place. The voice in your head is a tool that thinks it is the master. You are no more the voice than you are your liver, and over-identifying with the noise, the chatter, obscures the truth of who you really are. Allowing the voice, the Ego, to run rampant unchecked is the same as putting ear plugs in your ears and covering your eyes with a blindfold. You will never see the truth; you will never discover who you are underneath it all if the noise is all you know.

Beginning with Belief

I don’t often speak about my faith.  I bring it in to conversation from time to time as a side note and it is always extremely “other party polite” but is never direct or fully subjective.  When I do braze it into conversation, not only am I careful of what other parties may be feeling on the subject of faith, but I state my thoughts in a “matter of fact” point so despite what other party’s religious beliefs are, they still can relate to my view.  Read more

This workshop is a 2 hour introductory workshop discussing Past Lives.  In this workshop we will address how our past lives impact and how knowing about them can enrich our current incarnation.  We will be lead through a meditation to further delve into our individual incarnations and finally will engage in group discussion regarding our experiences.

What If There’s Actually Nothing Wrong With You?

What if there’s actually nothing wrong with you?  What if you are completely fine and whole the way you are?  What would that feel like to you knowing that you are completely fine and perfect in every moment of your life?

This concept has been popping into my experience over and over again lately. What if there’s nothing to be fixed? For me that’s a puzzling concept because everything in my experience from a child has told me that there is something inherently “wrong” and that I had to get it “fixed”.

The Choice

Everyday there is some “Resistance” that causes us to either “Expand” or to “Contract”. When I say “Contract” I know that most of you tend to think in the terms of “step forward” or “step backward”.  This is not the case.  With the understanding that our lungs are always expanding and contracting to allow us to breathe and breathing delivers the vitality of oxygen and removal of the damaging carbon dioxide, we will understand better the terms “expansion” and “contraction”. As we face resistance that causes us to contract, we learn.  We expel harmful patterns, ideas, and the like. How do we expel this negativity?  By recognizing that there is, in fact, something that affects us in an unpleasant manner. Read more

Craving Connection

So today is the beginning of a new journey for me.  The desire for a community that feels like home and is a safe place has been a dream of mine for quite some time.  Several years ago this idea popped into my head of creating a home “church” that actually fits my new spiritual path and understanding.  You see, I was heavily involved in a church that was fundamentalist at it’s heart.  It was a place that, for the most part, I felt safe and accepted until I didn’t anymore. I miss that family greatly.
